Opening Doors Through STEM Education

Expanding access to hands-on STEM learning for every student, one community at a time.
Mission
STEM Access Network exists to remove barriers to quality STEM education. We connect student mentors, community partners, and schools to bring engaging, hands-on learning experiences to underserved students—building confidence and curiosity through real-world technology.
IR-OME Program
IR-OME is an after-school STEM club designed specifically for historically underserved students at Newton Learning Center in Reno, Nevada. Through structured, sensory-aware sessions, students explore robotics, coding, and engineering in a supportive environment with a low mentor-to-student ratio.
Robotics Partner
The IR-OME program is planned and run by members of FIRST FRC Team #10903, The Ionizers. These high school students serve as mentors, bringing their robotics expertise and passion for STEM directly into the classroom.
